Basic Sanitation is the topic of a meeting with the BNDES

The meeting took place at the Porto Alegre City Hall and was also attended by representatives from the Municipal Water and Sewer Department (Dmae) and the Municipal Attorney General’s Office.

During the meeting, Thiago Ribeiro, Municipal Secretary for Strategic Partnerships, emphasized the importance of the BNDES’s involvement in overseeing the Basic Sanitation PPP process, given its previous involvement in structuring four other projects in this area.

“We will deliver the best possible solution for Porto Alegre’s sanitation system,” says the BNDES manager.

All consortium bids for the project’s structuring are also being reviewed by the BNDES. Among the bids, the R$1.67 million bid submitted by the consortium comprising Hidroconsult, Houer, and Machado Meyer stands out.
